Abstract
This is a commissioned book that is co-edited by Ayres-Bennett (Cambridge) and Carruthers (Queen's). The editors have co-written an Introduction which positions Romance Linguistics in terms of current and future research in the field. The main body of the book contains 28 chapters from scholars around the world, on both the major Romance languages and minoritised ones. In addition to the co-authored Introduction, Carruthers is single author of Chapter 12.
