Abstract
Mojo Mickybo is a vibrant and fast-paced tale of two boys’
friendship when they meet during the scorching summer of 1970.
One may be from ‘up the road’ and the other from ‘over the bridge’
but they are brought together by setting world records in headers,
fighting off bullies in the park and sneaking into the cinema to see
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. The two Cowboys friendship
takes them on a whirlwind adventure, from Belfast to Newcastle
Co. Down and back, blissfully unaware of the violence around them.
