Abstract
A morphogenesis-inspired technique for the engineering of electromagnetic components is under
development and finds new applications in the procedural generation of radiating metasurfaces. This method
simulates the growth of structures capable of spatially self-organizing to respond to electromagnetic constraints.
An application is presented with the automated synthesis of a morphogenetic metasurface radiating a field distribution constrained in frequency, in space, and in polarization.
