Abstract
This collection presents examples of music from collected editions of the Irish Melodies or sheet music produced in London or Dublin between 1808 and 1880. Composers featured include John Stevenson, Henry Bishop, George Alexander Macfarren, Michael William Balfe, William Henry Montgomery, John Liptrott Hatton and James Lyman Molloy. Stevenson's music also appears in versions edited by John William Glover or Francis Robinson.
