Abstract
New ionic liquids based on azepanium and 3-
methylpiperidinium cations have been synthesised; they
exhibit moderate viscosities and remarkably wide electrochemical
windows, thereby showing promise, inter alia, as
electrolytes and battery materials, and as synthetic media.
