Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between a TRO T and a sub-TRO S that is the range of a TRO-conditional expectation on T (a ternary corner) by investigating a class D of bounded linear maps on T. We pay particular attention to the case when the TROs contain partial isometries.
