Abstract

The better understand the operation of power systems with significant wind import, and hence to contribute to the further development and exploitation of wind energy, an EPSRC network has been established. As the network progresses, additional themes and associated working groups may be added. This article describes the strands of work currently being investigated within the network and associated workshops, outlines the operation and current membership of the network, and indicates how the role of the network will expand in the future.
