Abstract
As experts on medicines, pharmacists are required to
choose the most appropriate drugs, and provide advice
on suitable dosage regimens for individual patients, i.e.
what dose of drug to give and how often it should be
administered. A knowledge of pharmacokinetics and
pharmacodynamics is required in order to do this.
