Abstract
This study aims to compare the relationship between students and non-students to determine the differences in their intention to start a new business. This article adopts the theory of planned behaviour to examine the attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control of two samples to determine the differences and similarities between them. The results would help scholars more accurately understand how past experience and prior knowledge influence fostering entrepreneurial intentions in different phases of life. Structural equation modelling is used to test a series of hypotheses in hope of finding implications for research, policy, and the practice of entrepreneurship in business incubators.
