Abstract
Paired Reading has been used successfully for over 15 years across many languages. This version provides a framework to help parents/guardians structure the time they spend reading with children, to try and ensure that time spent leads to optimal reading development. The manual is provided for use at home to supplement school learning. It was produced from research work funded by a Rapid Impact grant from the Economic and Social Research Council.
