Restoration Macbeth, Folger Shakespeare Library and Theatre

Research output: Non-textual formPerformance

A full professional production of a Restoration adaptation of Macbeth, to be rehearsed and performed at the Folger Shakespeare Library and Theatre in August and September 2018. The rehearsals and production planning --the latter of which began in early 2018 -- involve collaboration between scholars and artists. The entire activity is a core feature of the AHRC research project 'Performing Restoration Shakespeare', for which I am the PI. The project's International Co-I, with whom I am co-directing this research activate, is Amanda Eubanks Winkler (Syracuse University, USA). The international research team includes scholars and artists from the UK, Ireland and the United States.
