Restoration Shakespeare Workshop, Shakespeare's Globe

Research output: Non-textual formPerformance

Abstract

A scholar-artist workshop on Restoration versions of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest', held at Shakespeare's Globe in London. This week-long event, which included public performances, was the launch event for the AHRC-funded project 'Performing Restoration Shakespeare'. I was the co-director of this practice-based research output, along with Professor Amanda Eubanks Winkler (Syracuse University, USA). The research team of 30 comprised 15 scholars (including Globe research staff) and 15 performing artists (actors, singers, instrumentalists). These workshops and performances formed part of my REF202 practice-based portfolio submisison.
