Abstract
This briefing provides an overview of findings which emerged from an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded research project which sought to assess the risks, impacts and mitigating responses of Covid-19 for victims and survivors of modern slavery living in the UK and USA. This briefing focuses on findings relating to the UK context and it draws on findings from the following strands of the research:

2. A rapid evidence review of 106 relevant sources of grey literature in the public domain between 1 March and 31 October 2020.
3. The monitoring of strategic communications of key anti-slavery organisation and government accounts via Twitter related to Covid-19 between January and September 2020.
At a later phase of the project, interviews with survivors were also conducted and two dialogue events were held with survivors and individuals working across the anti-slavery/trafficking sectors in the UK.
