Abstract

The chapter revisits the argument of the authors' seminal work on social work and social justice in the context of the 'Troubles' and their legacy. It argues for the continuing development of the profession's engagement with the challenges of a post conflict society as an opportunity to advance a social justice agenda. That agenda benefits from dialogue with anti racist ideas and practices within social work.
