Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Karamichas examines the relationship between sports and environmental sustainability through the lens of the Olympic Games. He focuses on the sustainability credentials of the Games in general, and uses Athens, Greece (2004), and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2016), as examples of two Olympic host cities with poor sustainability records.
