Abstract
An experimental and explorative approach to sound design in a feature film cinematic context. Applying Vareses’s ’organised sound’ theories to sound design and combining these ideas with an adoption of Gestalt’s psychotherapeutic principles to create an embodied emotionality in this films sound design. Seeing sound design as a composition and working in harmony with rather than in addition to the music score, dialogue, performance and narrative to become an underlying contributer to the films emotionality.
