Abstract
It has been identified that Nursing students are not always fit for practice on qualification, with the nursing students feeling stressed. To assist with developing clinical skills and to identify if the nursing students have acquired key skills an OSCE examination was introduced. This research evaluated the opinions of 1st year nursing students to using the OSCE as a form of an assessment for clinical skills.
