A Portfolio of original compositions

Abstract

The purpose of this document is to provide information on the portfolio items, found in the accompanying DVD. During the period of my research, many different directions were explored with varied degrees of success. The following chapters analyse and evaluate the resulting works along their respective methodologies, providing a resource for future researchers that pursue similar objectives. Since the goal is to communicate in a clear and practical way, an aesthetic analysis is always explicitly labeled as such, and the (always present) philosophical problems will be briefly discussed here.
