Abstract

This thesis details the implementation of continuous flow chemistry as a safe and scalable method for the development of chemical processes employing organometallic substrates and heterogeneous catalysts. The chemical transformations studied have applications in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and it is hoped that the methods developed herein will aid in the continuous manufacture of such commodities.
