Abstract
What makes a GP a GP? How does a young doctor starting out in medicine become part of this community, the largest grouping of doctors in the UK? What challenges must they overcome on the way? In this thesis, I explore the construction of professional identity in general practice (GP) training from a number of complementary angles.| Date of Award | Dec 2015 |
