    Research Interests

    My research interests span several areas in Power Electronics, including microgrid, distributed energy generation, grid integration, and DC-to-DC converters for Electric Vehicles. I am responsible for developing the Power Electronics theme, promoting it for undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research within Energy Power and Intelligent Control EPIC Research Cluster.

    Our research activities include modelling, analysis, design and control of power converters to meet the challenging requirements of high efficiency, compact size, power rating and system integration with minimum number of components.


    I am developing a module in Power Electronics and Motor Drives, this includes developing a power electronics laboratory. I am also teaching Control Systems part of Circuits and Control Module.

    - Developing Power Converters for the next Generation of Electric Vehicles.
    - Topics related to Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Energy Conversion, and Power Conditioning Systems are welcome to be discussed and proposed for PhD positions.
