Bridget Harrison is a second year Ph.D. student at Queens University Belfast in the School of History, Anthropology, Politics and Political Science. Her Ph.D thesis is currently titled ‘Public Perceptions of Irish Roman Catholic Women Religious, 1849-1907’. She was awarded the UCD Bachelor of Arts Graduate Scholarship for her achievement in the 2012/2013 academic year and undertook an MA in history in 2013. Her MA thesis examined the introduction and public reaction to the 1853 Inspection of Nunneries Bill.
Her current research is generously funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council as part of the Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership.
