I teach in the 2nd year undergraduate nuring program. The modules integrate pathophysiology and Nursing care of actuely ill patients and patients with chronic conditons. The module idenifies different patient assessement, nursing care and health promotion.
I teach on the evidence based nursing module which teaches the students different research strategies and how these apply to nursing in practice.
All 3 modules adopt a variety of assesement methods which i am invovled in marking. These include exams, assignments and facilaitation of peer marking workbooks.
Up until March 2015 I was program co ordinaotr of year 2. THis role encompassed facliting meetings with all feild module leaders to devlop streamlined modules and assement strategies. Organisation and managemetn of timetables for four differetn feilds with a vairity of different needs. A large part of the role was providing pastroal care for the studemts, supporting and guidng them in times of stress.
I am in my dissertation year of a taught Education Doctorate after completing a variety of modules.
