Statistics, decision modelling, pharmacoeconomics, data analytics.
I am a Lecturer in Data Analytics, however my research interests span various areas. I completed my PhD in 2016 in Medical Statistics at Queen's University Belfast in the Statistics Department joint with the Centre for Public Health. I went on to work at the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics (NCPE) as the full time in house statistician, working with a team of pharmacists and clinicans working on Health Technoogy Assessments to advise the Health Service Executive on the recommendation of new drug therapies in Ireland. I still remain a statistical advisor for the NCPE and am exploring how Northern Ireland could benefit from more decision modelling/pharmacoeocnomic assessment.
My main research interest therefore involves combining the areas of statistics, decision modelling, pharmacoeconomics and data analytics. I am also an Adjunct Researcher at the Institute for Public Health, Medical Decision Making and HTA at the University for Health Sciences Informatics and Technology (UMIT), Austria.
Lecturer on the MSc in Data Analytics.
