My current research projects are concerned with Early medieval settlemnt in economy particularly with the EMAP project in association withProf Aidan O'Sullivan of Univeristy College Dublin (www.emap.ie). This has produced a series of monographs during the last years. Current projects also include the FRAGSUS project which is an EU funded project investigating environmental change in prehistoric Malta led by Prof. Caroline Malone QUB (www.qub.ac.uk/FRAGSUS/) I am aslo part of the AHRB funded project "Celtic Connections" crannog project with Prof Tony Brown of the Univeristy of Southampton.
