    Research Statement

    Gemma Cherry is a PhD Candidate in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. She has previously completed a BA(Hons) Sociology degree and a Masters of Social Research (MRes) at Queen's University Belfast.

    Research Interests

    My research interests lie within the fields of sociology and education. I have a particular interest in advanced quantitative research methods. My PhD thesis investigates disparities in primary and post-primary educational attainment across urban and rural locations.
