Particular interest in the development and application of quantitative methods and econometric research issues in health, demography and other social science areas. Recent work has focused on investigating the different methods and software programs used to calculate healthy active life expectancy from both cross-sectional and longitudinal data sources. Additional ongoing research concentrates on making use of the discrete choice experiment methodology within the context of latent variable modelling and intra-household decision making structures.
